Nonprofit Communications Strategy

As Director of Communications, Storytelling & Digital Marketing at Every Mother Counts, Clarity Creative founder Kate Varghese conceived and directed creative campaigns and brand marketing strategies that grew audience–and more than doubled online donations year-over-year for 3 years straight.

Social Media Campaigns

A full social media campaign and audience engagement approach to Chrsity Turlington Burns and Amy Schumer’s book, Arrival Stories.

Our campaign drove donations, engaged parents nationwide with stories, and received mentions on national television for Christy’s nonprofit.

Creative Content Strategies

Part of being agile is never losing an opportunity to gain new donors and advocates. When charity: water’s CEO Scott Harrison wrote his first book, we handled the Full communications and content strategies for the nonprofit’s own launch. 

In addition to marketing and content strategy for the book launch, Kate also developed and implemented the creative strategy for a companion educational digital experience titled: thirstbook.com.

Many NGOs use their brands primarily as a fundraising tool, but a growing number of organizations are developing a broader and more strategic approach to communications, leveraging their brand to increase social impact.

For Asia Catalyst, a start-up nonprofit, branding became a way to not just talk the talk, but “walking the walk.”

Around the globe, individuals and organizations fight against the odds to advance maternal health for some of the world’s most marginalized people.

To capture these storeis, we produced and directed Delivering Hope, a social media first film series.

Foundation Leadership and Advocacy

As part of an agile advocacy and communications team, we helped design and implement a strategy for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to garner public attention for a private-public partnership eliminating neglected tropical diseases. 

The months long campaign revolved around a global Summit, major media coverage…and a Guinness World Record.
